Choosing the right paper for colored pencils

It is always hard choosing the right paper when starting a drawing. For years I was using a Bristol pad, but I always found it a bit too smooth for my liking. I went on a search and found a great pad especially for colored pencil users. It has more tooth to the paper and it blends the colors better. Its called Strathmore Colored Pencil.
